Tensile Testing >25kN for Strapping and Joint Efficiency

Our continued ethos for safe solutions backed with scientific analysis.

Located in the dedicated Samson Pallet Stability Testing Lab, the Omnitest25 provides calibrated tensile testing up to 25KN (>2549kgf).

Our team of experts can evaluate the break load of the parent strap and determine joint efficiencies of current methods.

It is commonly overlooked that a strapping break load is only as strong as the joint used to secure it.

Pack integrity cannot be calculated solely on the break load of the parent strap. In recent tests, we found the wrong sealing method or a poorly applied joint reduced the break load of the parent strap by up to 50%.

The right strap and sealing solution is vital to retain the integrity of the goods, and reduce injuries or fatalities caused by loads displacing.

With video footage of each test embedded in the analysis report and scientific test result data, we can offer expert advice on which type of strap, jointing method and number of straps required to keep the load safe.
