Polyester (PET) Strapping is used in many medium to heavy duty applications such as palletising goods, bricks and blocks, timber, heavy machinery or automotives. It’s 100% recyclable and is available with 100% recycled content making it a very eco-friendly and sustainable strapping solution. Used with friction weld tools to form a secure and reliable joint or inline automatic strapping heads.
It has excellent shock absorption during transportation and is non-abrasive on products preventing surface damage to goods and is available in embossed or smooth.
PET has high break loads and can be used as an alternative to steel in some applications. Our load specialists can advise which solution you need and can test strapping and joint efficiency using our tensile testing machine
