Polypropylene strapping is ideal for lightweight applications and can be applied with manual combination tools and seals, with a friction weld tool or semi- automatic and fully automatic arch machines.
It’s primarily used for carton securing or bundling small loads rather than pallet stability, as break loads are significantly lower than PET and steel.
PP can be offered in a variety of colours, or printed with your own custom logo. Supplied on cardboard cores for semi-automatic tabletop machines, automatic arch machines, or on cardboard core or plastic reel for use with mobile dispensers.
Break loads of PP range from 75kg to 300kg depending on strap width and thickness. For widths over 12mm we would recommend PET or steel for increased break load and pack integrity.
