Samson Pallet Stability has joined forces with PaperWrap green by orange GmbH to bring plastic-free pallet wrapping to the UK, Ireland and Scotland. Samson Pallet Stability will distribute and support the PaperWrap machines, which wrap pallets using fully recyclable kraft paper as a viable alternative to conventional plastic stretch film.

Meanwhile, at PPMA (Processing & Packaging Machinery Association), long a hub for packaging breakthroughs, Samson Pallet Stability also seized the opportunity to showcase synergies between its existing offerings and the new paper wrap systems. Their in-house tensile testing machinery can test strapping systems (parent strap and joint efficiency) up to 25,000 N. In their steel fabrication case study, Samson Pallet Stability used the tensile tester to expose an example of strapping that did not meet its claimed specifications, demonstrating that what is on paper does not always translate in practice.
